Is the forum an ARG?
No. Deceit Forum is a real public community. The Signal Board is the only fictional section and is labeled accordingly.
Why can I reply but not create a topic yet?
Topic creation begins at trust level 1. Read a few discussions and participate in an existing thread first. This is a spam control, not an agreement test.
Do I have to agree with Deceit?
No. Criticism, corrections, competing interpretations, and better sources are welcome.
Do I have to leave Christianity to belong here?
No. Some members leave. Some reconstruct their faith. Some remain uncertain. The forum does not prescribe a conclusion. It protects the ability to question without evangelism, threats, or pressure to return.
Can Christians participate?
Yes. Practicing and progressive Christians are welcome when they respect the survivor-centered purpose. This is not a venue for apologetics directed at people in recovery or for proving that a harmful doctrine has been misunderstood.
Can I post anonymously?
You may use a public pseudonym, but do not impersonate another person or misrepresent professional credentials. The forum still processes account and connection data needed to operate and secure the service.
Where do I report a factual error?
Use Corrections. Include the exact page or post, the disputed statement, and a source that supports the correction.
Where can I get urgent help?
Use the real-world resources linked from deceit.media/help. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted local support provider.
